Thanks again to everyone for the input.  I'm still pulling a knock sensor fault.  I had the GM dealer in Warrensburg do a diagnostic and they said it could be the wiring connector, or it could be the sensor (as it's not a genuine GM part......).  They wanted $60 for the two-three feet of wiring from the sensor to the first plug.  And they said close to $700 for the sensor swap.......

Man this has been a pain in my  :ass1000: .  I'll change the wiring, but how can something that is built to detect a specific frequency keep going bad...in under a freaking week...  Here is to hoping the wiring connector is at fault!

I'll also get the Pred version and give Diablo tech support a call with the information.  I take it i'll need to fax the new pcm receipt to them for verification of the work?

And don't forget to stay tuned for another exciting, and somewhat amusing, update on WTF is wrong now!

Almost forgot...the SIR coil and wiring assm went in without a hitch.  Two drop lights and an hour later we were buttoning the column back up and she is good-to-go.
