Sail Panel Light Push in Clip.
« on: September 07, 2010, 10:03:11 AM »
I spoke with my buddy at the dealer this morning looking for the plastic push-in clip to mount the SPL LED, he gave me a P/N-11519037, my price is $4.40ea.  banghead1  Yes, that's a total of $35.20 without tax.  This includes the plastic philips screw which I don't need but apparently that's how it's sold? Can anyone verify that this is the correct P/N?  See attached pic.

My 02 has the steel screws instead of the plastic philips with push-in clip so I need to convert to these, has anyone else (with an 02 and steel screws) converted to these and used the Oznium LED's?

I slept most of the day today. I'll try to go check out the local salvage yard tomorrow and see if there's any left on that '02 they had.

You better take one of those screws out of yours and make sure that plastic ring that Chevyfan gave you will fit in there properly. It should but it's always best to double check.

That's my plan but I wanted to get something posted and try to get some feelers to verify the part number.

There's a place in KC that was posted on TOS that sells the cladding clips cheap. I'll be danged if I can remember the name, though. You might be able to get these clips there also.

I helped Doc with his last year and he had the screws as well. I think he may have gotten those pushpins from Oznium.

Scratch that, the clips he got were threaded and had a small nut on the back of them.

OK, I looked around a little on TOS, got the clip part number, did a Google search, and here's the company that I remembered:

http://shop.northlandfasteners.com/N20377-Rocker-Panel-Moulding-Clip-N20377.htm

I didn't look around on the site but it's probably worth checking it out.

You are the man Mike!!!!  I received these on Saturday but haven't had a chance to do anything with them yet.  I'm trying to wrap up a few other mods I had laying around before I go in for surgery.

 :jacked:

I installed my new (2nd) upper intermediate steering shaft (clunks worse than the OEM shaft) and my HID high beams and relay harness.

2- OK I guess, I don't like the fact that when I turn them on they need to warm up before I can see.  I need to run a ground wire so the lows stay on when I turn on the highs, I also want the fogs on as well.

i have four aimed high so who ever is in front of me complains i think if i did this mod n had 6 the cops would definitely give me a ticket for they asked me already how my lights were aimed i jus said factory
