Those are going into a custom fiberglass dash pod for the Trans Am. I need to get started on that too. I've got way too many things going on at once!

Hey I have a question for you...  (Assuming you do your own fiberglass work) Do you think it's possible to make some pods for 10 or 12" speakers in the back of the AV?  I was thinking about cutting some of the trim out in the upper corners by the rear window and molding one in there on each side.  Let me know if you understand what I'm trying to visualize.

I remember talking to a member on TOS who had made some pods for 6.5" speakers that I wanted to put above the rear window on the corners. But 10" or 12" damn I wouldn't want to hit my head on that and it's probably going to need to be a decent size.

I agree...  It will be big, suprisingly, there's a lot of room up there.  I had to take it all apart for my TV antenna mounted under it.  Once it's down, there's quite a bit of room.  Only bad thing is there's no turning back if you decide to hack it away.  I'm chicken! :dunno:

That's why i'm going under the seat. Knowing my luck, I'd just end up with a hacked up interior and subs that fall on passenger's heads!

I totally understand what you are trying to say. The theory of it would be easy to pull off. Just fab up some wooden frames and then resin and glass them to the shape you want. The only problems i can for see are, space...will it be a pain in the ass to have a 10" (I don't think a 12 will work) sub hanging down in your passenger space? In reality, you are going to have a 12"x12"x6ish" piece of framework hanging down from the rear corner of the cab. Secondly, I don't think you will have enough air space to allow a 10" subwoofer to reach its full potential.

It would look cool as hell if you could pull it off tho!
